Where did the Vikings travel to?

We have used atlases to identify the countries in Scandinavia where the Vikings came from.

We labelled the countries across Europe that the Vikings travelled through.and drew maps to show the exploration and trading routes the Vikings took past Iceland and Greenland, to Britain and even to the Mediterranean!

Malham Visit 2017

In March Year 5 visited Malham in the Yorkshire Dales. We learnt how to use 4 and 6 figure co-ordinates to use maps and find our way to Malham Cove. We also enjoyed geocaching around the village before we stayed in the Youth Hostel overnight. The next day we,explored Janet's Foss Waterfall and Goredale Scar. It was the highlight of our year!
