NSPCC- Speak Out Stay Safe

On Thursday 25th, January Year 5 and the rest of KS2 were informed of the NSPCC campaign to educate children about their rights, responsibilities and opportunities with regard to 'Staying Safe' and 'Speaking Out' about actions,  behaviours or words spoken that might affect their own or other people's mental, emotional and physical well-being. The children were taught about various forms of abuse and bullying that exist in an assembly and they were informed about who were the correct people to speak to if they ever had concerns. Afterwards Year 5 had a workshop where these concepts were explored in more detail and the message 'Speak Out, Stay Safe' was reinforced.
