Remember Remember the 5th of November...

We had a lovely first week back after half term learning all about Bonfire Night.

We watched a short video about Guy Fawkes and why we celebrate this event and we also talked about the traditional things we do on this night. We discussed how to stay safe on Bonfire night and how important this is.

We were very lucky and followed instructions to make chocolate sparklers. Have a look at the slideshow to see how we got on. Maybe you could make them at home. Can you remember what you need?

First we dipped our chocolate fingers into warm water

Then we rolled the end in sprinkles

Next we let them dry

Finally we ate our chocolate sparklers...

...and they were DELICIOUS!!

We also created our own firework pictures using cotton buds and paint...
