On the 12th July 2017, Year Five visited Park Bridge to study the features of a river. We had a lovely day and the children got to see some features that were talked about in class.
As well as the river we saw butterflies, moths, huge dragonflies and a kestrel. In the afternoon we measured the speed and flow of various sections of the river and tooh a cross section of the river bed. We also used nets to catch river dwelling creatures to assess how clean the river was.
As ever, the children were very well behaved and showed their knowledge.
Well done, Year Five.
