Kingswood 2020 information

We are delighted to officially launch our residential trip to Kingswood to you and your child. The five day residential educational adventure activity course at the Kingswood Centre at Colomendy takes place from Monday 12th October to Friday 16th October 2020.

Residential courses organised by the school are, of course, an optional but invaluable part of the National Curriculum. Pupils benefit hugely from the experience, both educationally and socially and I feel certain that the Adventure Choice programme which we have chosen this year will prove to be both enjoyable and very worthwhile.

The cost of the visit will be £285 and includes return travel by coach, full board, accommodation and a full programme of activities. To confirm our booking, an initial non-refundable deposit of £40 will be required by Friday 14th February.

We appreciate that parents and young people will undoubtedly wish to find out more about the forthcoming trip. As such, we would love to invite you to a parents’ presentation evening at our school on Wednesday 22nd January at 5.30pm to explain in more detail what we have planned for this year’s residential trip. Of course, children are more than welcome to attend the evening as well. During this presentation we will also cover information about the amenities available at the centre, what to pack, menu plans, accommodation details and a sneak peek at the types of thrilling adventures and team-building activities your child will be involved in!
