Our trip to Portland Basin

On Tuesday 12th December, Year 1 went to Portland Basin on a bus to look at Victorian Toys. We were greeted by a Victorian teacher who showed us how to play with the old toys. We also completed a toy trail around the museum and looked at the different places from the past. We found 10 teddy bears hiding around Portland Basin and we even got to dress up in Victorian clothes. When we had finished our visit, we had our dinner in the learning centre then walked to the bus stop to get the bus back to school.

The children had a wonderful time at the trip, were engaged and asked and answered lots of questions.

Here are some photographs of the day!
