Homework

Your child should have a reading book with a coloured sticker on it. This should be read each day for at least 10 minutes. Your child should also have a library book which can be read at home. Please can books come to school everyday, as we also read in class.

Your child also has access to Mathletics - maths can be practised on a regular basis.

On a Friday your child will bring home their homework book which will contain: spellings (these have been practised during the week at school and are tested on a Monday); Comprehension (this has been read and discussed in class); a SPAG sheet (this is to practise all KS2 grammar that will be tested in May) and finally a maths sheet (this contains all elements to be tested in May).

If your child finds aspects of the homework difficult, please help them and let me know you have helped as we can then go through it together.

Homework books should be returned completed and signed by a parent/carer on Monday or Tuesday.

Thank you
