Moving and light up Christmas cards
To finish off our Electricity topic, we used what we had learnt to create Christmas pictures which had a moving or light up part. They were all fantastic!
Conductors
In Science, we used our knowledge of circuits to investigate which objects were conductors and which were insulators. The children were soon able to identify more objects around the classroom which were conductors and had lots of fun test them!
Map Reading
In Geography, we studied road maps of the UK, Greater Manchester and Tameside and worked out the best routes to get from one place to another. The children worked really well on this and showed some excellent map reading skills.
