- Toileting, washing and drying hands
- Putting their coat on, zipping up, turning it the right way around
- Putting shoes on
- Practise getting dressed in their uniform and back out of it
- Practise putting their PE kits on
- Finding their name / begin to write name
- Use a knife and fork
- Holding own belongings when coming into school – bottle, book bag, lunchbox
- Opening their book bags and closing
- Show children transition booklet – discuss starting school
- Listen to how your child is speaking
