Olympic Athlete Visit
On the 26th June, Michael Churm came to visit the school and help us with our sponsored event of doing certain exercises each in a minute.
The children really enjoyed themselves and had a lot of fun!
He then spoke to the children about his career as a Paralympian and told them how he managed to achieve his times and medals through determination, resilience and hard work. We even got to see his Olympic medals!
The event raised just under £2,000! The money will be split between supporting the Paralympian athletes and new sports equipment for school.
