Welcome to Year One!

 

Meet the team!

Why not take a look in the Year 1 booklet for parents which has lots of useful information about what is taught in Year 1, the themes throughout the year and the classroom routines.

 

Here is the powerpoint that we shared at the 'Meet the teacher evening' with all the relevant information that we discussed.

REMINDERS

Monday – PE: remember PE kits if you have not already. Names on every item.

Tuesday – Return both reading books, green reading record book and homework

Wednesday – PE: remember PE kits if you have not already. Names on every item.

Thursday – Library/ICT, return library books weekly to be changed.

Friday – The children will be tested on their spellings, and new spellings, homework and reading books will be sent home, so please remember to bring in book bags.  The newsletter goes onto the school website.
