May- Libraries
This month, we have focused on libraries, particularly our own wonderful library in school. Each class has been given a scanner to help children borrow, keep track of and rate their books. Each child has also been given a 'Library Book Passport' where they have been challenged to read a range of genres.
The Reading Champions now have a corner of the library to display books. This month, they took the opportunity to celebrate David Attenborough's 100th birthday by making birthday cards and recommending books about nature and wildlife.
